Helping Migrant Children Cope with Stress during the COVID-19 pandemic

Right Beyond Border, with support of terre des hommes Germany in Thailand organized a door-knock activity to “Helping Migrant Children Cope with Stress during the COVID-19 pandemic”. Together with supporting the child’s face masks and hygiene kit (together with some donating) to help children learning about self-protection and the use of hygiene kit.

Some painting and drawing materials including hygiene kit and cartoon book on covid-19 have been given to approximately 1,100 children in 6 migrant communities in Mae Sot. Children enjoyed doing this recreation activity with their parents and had better understanding on how to protect themselves from the covid-19.

This activity is expected to help strengthening family relationship and lessen the stress causing by social distancing practice during the widespread of COVID-19.
